O locație foarte primitoare , ne-am simțit răsfățați , Alina a fost o gazdă de 10 , a avut grijă de tot , noi doar ne-am bucurat de vacanță . Camerele , piscina , mâncarea , curățenia , servirea au fost impecabile . Complimente bucătarului care ne-a surprins în fiecare zi cu preparate delicioase .Plaja este la 3 min pe jos . Mi-a plăcut totul . Cu drag recomand Ananda Villa

Am avut o experiență minunată la Vila Ananda și o recomand cu tot dragul! ❤️
Locația este superbă, cosy, liniștită, sigură și foarte confortabilă. Camera este spațioasă, foarte curată și bine dotată, iar cearșafurile sunt absolut nemaipomenite (genul acela de detaliu care face diferența după o zi întreagă de explorat)
Mâncarea este foarte bună, iar personalul este unul dintre marile plusuri ale vilei: foarte amabil, simpatic și mereu gata să ajute cu orice ai nevoie. Piscina este curată și perfectă pentru relaxare.
Un alt „bonus” al locației sunt maimuțele care mai vin în vizită din cand in cand. Nu fac nimic rău, sunt mai degrabă o atracție turistică și fac experiența și mai specială.
Am ales și excursii organizate prin vilă și am fost foarte mulțumită. Sunt bine alese și foarte bine organizate, ceea ce mi-a dat multă liniște și mi-a permis să mă bucur de Zanzibar fără să-mi bat capul cu toate detaliile logistice.
Și vreau neapărat să o menționez pe Alina, managera vilei. E romanca, locuiește în Zanzibar și este genul de om pe care te bucuri enorm să-l ai aproape, in orice conditii dar mai ales când călătorești într-o țară din Africa și nu știi exact la ce să te aștepți. Orice mică problemă sau nelămurire am avut, Alina a rezolvat-o cât ai clipi. Este o persoană de bază, foarte implicată și atentă, și m-am simțit mult mai în siguranță știind că pot conta pe ea.
Un mic pont pentru cei care ajung in Zanzibar, v-aș recomanda să vă luați de acasă un adaptor de priza bun (cele locale nu sustin foarte bine stecherele cu impamantare sau cele prea grele)
Per total, Vila Ananda mi-a oferit exact combinația de care aveam nevoie: confort, relaxare, oameni frumoși, siguranță și o atmosferă autentică de Zanzibar. Aș reveni cu mare drag! 🌴🌞

An absolutely wonderful experience! The villa is private, intimate and very clean. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff definitely won me over with their kindness and positive energy. Also, the excursions they organized were exceptional, very well structured and with super trained and funny guides.
The whole experience was perfectly completed by the host, who did an incredible job. Thanks to her we had an authentic vacation, she was always there for us, warm, open and ready to help us with any question. I don't know what we would have done without her! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything!

We felt very good here and I think what we liked the most was the peace and the relaxed atmosphere. It was a real corner of peace, especially after the days we were away discovering Zanzibar. 🌴
The villa is very clean with really comfortable beds. Everything was simple and hassle-free in terms of the transfer from the airport and the excursions around the island.
The staff was one of the things that made us feel so good: very friendly, calm and always available when we needed something. I really liked their “pole, pole” rhythm, no rush, no stress, exactly what you want when you arrive in Zanzibar.
It was a very beautiful experience and we sincerely enjoyed the time we spent here. We left with very beautiful memories and, if we ever end up in Zanzibar again, we would definitely come back. 🤍

I just got back from vacation at this location, so the review is "warm"!
Everything is superlative, the location, the staff and the owner. They adapt according to needs, I am allergic to a certain dish, they took this into account, and one evening when I didn't like a dish, it was immediately replaced with something else. Sociable hosts, extremely hospitable employees. A stay in which the services and serving were 5 *. Thank you! 🤗

E greu de scris o recenzie de cateva cuvinte care sa descrie ce inseamna Ananda. Alina si Ciprian au reusit sa transforme ,ceea ce credeam ca e o cazare recomandata de majoritatea turistilor ,intr-o experienta greu de egalat pe viitor. Personal de care te indragostesti,mancare exceptionala, impecabil totul. Ar trebui setat pe Google ,in afara de stele, o comparatie cu Ananda ca atunci cand faci o rezervare oriunde sa ai reperul de maxim de satisfactie din toate punctele de vedere

Alina was great communicating with us and letting us know valuable tips and tricks about the location, how to interact with locals, where to eat etc. But the best thing and most important for me was that she was organising all our day trips, made sure that our breakfast was ready on time so we don’t get delayed, organised our group very well. That type of vacation where you can just relax and not worry about where you go, how you get there, at what cost etc.
Overall our vacation was perfect, great value for price, friendly people, nice staff and very, very good food!

This has been a trip I had been dreaming about for many years, ever since I started following Zanzibarezul. I didn’t do much research beforehand—I simply reached out, asked for details, and trusted the process.
Everything exceeded my expectations. The communication with the agency in Romania was smooth and reassuring, and the travel agent in Zanzibar was just as helpful and attentive. From the hotel manager to every staff member, everyone made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. The rooms, the hotel itself, the food, and the overall atmosphere were all wonderful.
The excursions were very well thought out and perfectly organized, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. Most importantly, I felt safe the entire time, and more than that—I truly felt at home. I was able to relax and fully disconnect, which was exactly the purpose of this trip.
I’m already looking forward to coming back soon, and I definitely recommend this experience to anyone considering it.

Ananda Villa Zanzibar - I left home alone, with an open heart, without expectations, without prejudices and arrived in a place that conquered me from the second I crossed its threshold. I spent an 8-day stay at this location. A unique experience. On the first day of arrival I started with the message of relaxation.
The ladies who do the massage have divine hands.
The kitchen is in sight and you can see how they prepare the food. The staff with a smile on their faces and the cleanliness was at its best.
For those who have not experienced ZANZIBAR and the location, I highly recommend ANANDA VILLA.

Vila Ananda – o experiență deosebită în Zanzibar!
Mâncarea a fost excelentă, atent pregătită și foarte gustoasă. Camera super ok, curată, confortabilă și bine întreținută. Cel mai mare atu al Vilei Ananda este personalul – extrem de prietenos, mereu cu zâmbetul pe buze, profesioniști, dar în același timp foarte apropiați de oaspeți. Atmosferă relaxată, vibe bun și sentimentul că ești între prieteni. Cu siguranță ne-am întoarce și recomandăm cu toată încrederea!

Am avut o experiență minunată, este o stațiune liniștită care are de toate, de la camere mari la restaurant, bar, piscină. Personalul este prietenos și dornic să ne ajute oricând. Recomand cu căldură. Iar mâncarea este uimitoare.

Ananda Villa este genul de loc care impresionează prin atmosferă și prin oamenii care îl fac special. Personalul este extrem de prietenos, atent și mereu disponibil. Un mare highlight al șederii mele a fost zona de masaj – experiența a fost atât de reușită încât am făcut masaj zilnic timp de 10 zile. Moana merită toate complimentele: profesionistă, calmă și foarte intuitivă, fiecare sesiune fiind profund relaxantă. Mâncarea este excelentă, camerele sunt curate impecabil zi de zi, iar siguranța este foarte bine asigurată. Plaja este la doar 2 minute de mers pe jos, iar excursiile pot fi organizate direct prin locație. Atmosfera este relaxată și primitoare, potrivită atât pentru cupluri, cât și pentru familii. O experiență completă, pe care o recomand fără rezerve.

Personalul este absolut extraordinar: oameni însuflețiți, curioși, prietenoși, mereu cu zâmbetul pe buze și gata să te ajute cu orice, oricând.
Un loc special în inima mea îl ocupă Muki, bucătarul-șef – un om cu o pasiune incredibilă pentru gătit. Tot ce iese din mâinile lui este pur și simplu divin, fiecare masă fiind o experiență în sine.
Grace merită toată aprecierea pentru efortul și dorința ei de a învăța limba română – vorbește deja conversațional cu oaspeții Ananda, lucru care te face să te simți cu adevărat special și binevenit.
Iar Janette este, fără îndoială, sufletul locației: energie pozitivă pură, mereu cu chef de dans, voie bună și zâmbete. Serile petrecute cu ei sau momentele de la bar, savurând o băutură rece, îți schimbă instant starea – nu ai cum să nu te simți bine.
Apropo de băuturi 🍹: băieții de la bar sunt de admirat pentru creativitatea lor. I-am rugat să mă surprindă cu un cocktail improvizat pe loc, iar Aston a creat ceva absolut instagramabil – delicios și spectaculos.

Am petrecut sărbătorile de iarnă aici ca în sânul familiei, doar că… cu +30 de grade în plus ☀️. Am plecat cu unele dintre cele mai frumoase amintiri din Zanzibar.

După două zile intense de safari pe continent, am ajuns târziu în Zanzibar, obosiți și flămânzi, însă Alina s-a gândit la noi și ne-a așteptat în cameră cu mâncare gătită, lăsată pe masă, exact ce aveam nevoie în acel moment. A fost un gest mic, dar cu un impact enorm, care spune totul despre grija și atenția pentru oaspeți.
Întregul staff este extrem de profesionist, amabil și mereu cu zâmbetul pe buze. Grace este o adevărată dulceață, iar echipa de la bar este la fel de primitoare și atentă, reușind să te facă să te simți ca acasă din prima zi.

Am avut o ședere excelentă la Ananda Villa Zanzibar și am fost foarte mulțumiți din toate punctele de vedere. Ananda Beach oferă o experiență completă, definită de siguranță, profesionalism și atenție la detalii. Transferul de la și către aeroport a fost impecabil organizat, fara nicio grijă din partea noastră.
Vila este situată într-o zonă liniștită, la un minut distanță de ocean ( în linia a doua), cu o priveliște superbă, perfectă pentru relaxare totală.
Camerele sunt spațioase, curate și frumos amenajate, iar curățenia a fost impecabilă pe tot parcursul sejurului. Personalul este extrem de amabil, atent și mereu gata să ajute, făcându-ne să ne simțim bineveniți și răsfățați.

Vila este situată într-o zonă liniștită, la un minut distanță de ocean ( în linia a doua), cu o priveliște superbă, perfectă pentru relaxare totală.
Camerele sunt spațioase, curate și frumos amenajate, iar curățenia a fost impecabilă pe tot parcursul sejurului. Personalul este extrem de amabil, atent și mereu gata să ajute, făcându-ne să ne simțim bineveniți și răsfățați.

Ananda Villa in Zanzibar was wonderful! The food was delicious, rooms comfortable, and the staff incredibly kind. There are many trips available that truly give you the full African experience, and the owner makes everything super easy and comfortable (even providing beach bags and towels). Highly recommended!

I warmly recommend this place. From the super friendly staff to the delicious food, the organization of the trips and the recommendations we received. Everything was wow. Special thanks to Catalina for all the organization and efforts to have a unique Zanzibar experience. The rooms are super cozy, and the garden is an exotic mix. In fact, we didn't miss anything. It was the first year when I chose an exotic holiday without children and at the "end of the world"!
I chose without children (although I don't leave without girls) because I didn't know what was waiting for me!
It's not that I don't have children on vacation 🤣, this was the first vacation without girls.
Well …… after a very long journey (for me at least it was quite long, about 10 hours or so) we arrived at our destination where we were greeted very nicely.
Initially I said that I had the wrong location 🫣😂
I can say that I forgot the "nails" from the airplane seat 🤣
Happy, welcoming people and always with a smile on their faces, which confused me a bit, I honestly tell you that I was used to a different type of people! (not that we aren't welcoming; but there are too many here 😂)
All I can tell you is that it is a magical place, with welcoming, calm people (pole-pole) and who would help you at any time and at any time!
Another world! People who don't care what you do, how you dress, how you look...
As for the accommodation, I can only have good words, from the accommodation, the food and the top notch staff!
Catalina and ion are special people and very involved!
I didn't really have time to get to know Ciprian too much, but the staff brilliantly replaced his absence by providing us with all the necessary information for a pleasant and adventurous stay!
Yes…. I also saw sad parts, poor children and families but ….. poor for us as they were very happy!
I can say that they have everything!!!
We ate from their hands, we ate under the conditions in which they eat, and nothing happened to us at any of them! (being quite a large group)
Don't pass by without greeting you with a smile on your face, kind people who sell their own works (paintings, bracelets, necklaces, etc.) without "harassing" you.
Even if they receive a refusal, they don't look bad, on the contrary, they invite you another time!
We decided to come back next year together with the children!

A chef you rarely meet, exemplary cleanliness and maximum availability. Unforgettable spa services, Oana ❤️❤️❤️. Specifically: 10 for location, food and cleaning. Our Zanzibar experience wouldn’t have been the same if we didn’t stay at Ananda.
The staff is incredible, friendly and happy, the location is clean and welcoming and the food is diverse and tasty. For the drinks, I loved all the local ones, which you can find at the bar like Dawa, Safari or Kilimanjaro beer, Savanna cider, coconut water and filter coffee but the choice is diverse.
The pool and local span are exactly what you need to relax 🧘♀️ especially if you’re doing all the trips proposed. Those are carefully selected if you want to understand the local culture and see all the beautiful places. Maybe more diversity for the repeat customers and different preferences would be a good idea.
The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable so you get great suggestions, recommendations and advice from start to finish.
The villa is located on the second raw which means you’re protected from the ocean wind and the ocean is about 3-5minutes walking distance.
In my opinion the villa is underrated compared to competitors conditions. The discomfort factors are in general external and common to the area.

I recently had my best island experience vacation in December 2023 at Ananda Villa Zanzibar. The good location, clean and spacious rooms, the tasty food, great entertainment during dinners next to the pool, and the most outstanding staff hospitality, all these factors reinforced that picking this accommodation was an excellent decision!

We spent a 9 day holiday at Ananda Villa. A place with a strong emotional charge. I have only words of praise, starting with Elena and Ciprian and ending with every member of the staff.
Here you don't feel like a customer, you feel like home.
A very quiet place, well positioned. The nearest beach spot is a 1 minute walk away and the nearest beach with sunbeds is a 20 minute walk along the beach.
You don't have to worry about food. The chef from the staff takes care of you and your taste buds. The menu includes dishes for everyone's tastes, that is for sure that you will find something on the menu that you will like. Haters will say that no, but trust a person who doesn't necessarily eat fish, and believe me I had plenty of options to eat.
I warmly recommend this place owned by Elena and Ciprian- “Zanzibarezii” who will certainly make your experience in Zanzibar unique.

This place is located just a two minute walk away from the beach and we had a wonderful experience overall. Although it might not be directly on the beachfront, the location was still convenient, allowing us quick access to the quiet and a bit wild shoreline that we enjoyed.
