It was the first year when I chose an exotic holiday without children and at the "end of the world"!
I chose without children (although I don't leave without girls) because I didn't know what was waiting for me!
It's not that I don't have children on vacation 🤣, this was the first vacation without girls.
Well …… after a very long journey (for me at least it was quite long, about 10 hours or so) we arrived at our destination where we were greeted very nicely.
Initially I said that I had the wrong location 🫣😂
I can say that I forgot the "nails" from the airplane seat 🤣
Happy, welcoming people and always with a smile on their faces, which confused me a bit, I honestly tell you that I was used to a different type of people! (not that we aren't welcoming; but there are too many here 😂)
All I can tell you is that it is a magical place, with welcoming, calm people (pole-pole) and who would help you at any time and at any time!

As for the accommodation, I can only have good words, from the accommodation, the food and the top notch staff!

Yes…. I also saw sad parts, poor children and families but ….. poor for us as they were very happy!
I can say that they have everything!!!
We ate from their hands, we ate under the conditions in which they eat, and nothing happened to us at any of them! (being quite a large group)
Don't pass by without greeting you with a smile on your face, kind people who sell their own works (paintings, bracelets, necklaces, etc.) without "harassing" you.

Our Zanzibar experience wouldn’t have been the same if we didn’t stay at Ananda.
The staff is incredible, friendly and happy, the location is clean and welcoming and the food is diverse and tasty. For the drinks, I loved all the local ones, which you can find at the bar like Dawa, Safari or Kilimanjaro beer, Savanna cider, coconut water and filter coffee but the choice is diverse.
The pool and local span are exactly what you need to relax 🧘♀️ especially if you’re doing all the trips proposed. Those are carefully selected if you want to understand the local culture and see all the beautiful places. Maybe more diversity for the repeat customers and different preferences would be a good idea.
The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable so you get great suggestions, recommendations and advice from start to finish.
The villa is located on the second raw which means you’re protected from the ocean wind and the ocean is about 3-5minutes walking distance.
In my opinion the villa is underrated compared to competitors conditions. The discomfort factors are in general external and common to the area.

For the drinks, I loved all the local ones, which you can find at the bar like Dawa, Safari or Kilimanjaro beer, Savanna cider, coconut water and filter coffee but the choice is diverse.
The pool and local span are exactly what you need to relax 🧘♀️ especially if you’re doing all the trips proposed. Those are carefully selected if you want to understand the local culture and see all the beautiful places. Maybe more diversity for the repeat customers and different preferences would be a good idea.

A very quiet place, well positioned. The nearest beach spot is a 1 minute walk away and the nearest beach with sunbeds is a 20 minute walk along the beach.
You don't have to worry about food. The chef from the staff takes care of you and your taste buds. The menu includes dishes for everyone's tastes, that is for sure that you will find something on the menu that you will like. Haters will say that no, but trust a person who doesn't necessarily eat fish, and believe me I had plenty of options to eat.
