I warmly recommend this place. From the super friendly staff to the delicious food, the organization of the trips and the recommendations we received. Everything was wow. Special thanks to Catalina for all the organization and efforts to have a unique Zanzibar experience. The rooms are super cozy, and the garden is an exotic mix. In fact, we didn't miss anything. It was the first year when I chose an exotic holiday without children and at the "end of the world"!I chose without children (although I don't leave without girls) because I didn't know what was waiting for me!It's not that I don't have children on vacation 🤣, this was the first vacation without girls.Well …… after a very long journey (for me at least it was quite long, about 10 hours or so) we arrived at our destination where we were greeted very nicely.Initially I said that I had the wrong location 🫣😂I can say that I forgot the "nails" from the airplane seat 🤣Happy, welcoming people and always with a smile on their faces, which confused me a bit, I honestly tell you that I was used to a different type of people! (not that we aren't welcoming; but there are too many here 😂)All I can tell you is that it is a magical place, with welcoming, calm people (pole-pole) and who would help you at any time and at any time!Another world! People who don't care what you do, how you dress, how you look...As for the accommodation, I can only have good words, from the accommodation, the food and the top notch staff!Catalina and ion are special people and very involved!I didn't really have time to get to know Ciprian too much, but the staff brilliantly replaced his absence by providing us with all the necessary information for a pleasant and adventurous stay!Yes…. I also saw sad parts, poor children and families but ….. poor for us as they were very happy!I can say that they have everything!!!We ate from their hands, we ate under the conditions in which they eat, and nothing happened to us at any of them! (being quite a large group)Don't pass by without greeting you with a smile on your face, kind people who sell their own works (paintings, bracelets, necklaces, etc.) without "harassing" you.Even if they receive a refusal, they don't look bad, on the contrary, they invite you another time!We decided to come back next year together with the children!Ps: it is not an advertisement, but we are just happy to see a Romanian who has succeeded both in a foreign country and who offers you everything you need for a peaceful and trouble-free stay!

I could say that we were in a dream state that took us to the world of dreams, a state also due to our stay at Ananda Villa, otherwise inspired by the name given to the place considering that "ananda" in Sanskrit means happiness!Thanks to the @zanzibarezul team and staff for the services, the atmosphere and the state of "hakuna matata" offered!

Our Zanzibar experience wouldn’t have been the same if we didn’t stay at Ananda.The staff is incredible, friendly and happy, the location is clean and welcoming and the food is diverse and tasty. For the drinks, I loved all the local ones, which you can find at the bar like Dawa, Safari or Kilimanjaro beer, Savanna cider, coconut water and filter coffee but the choice is diverse.The pool and local span are exactly what you need to relax 🧘♀️ especially if you’re doing all the trips proposed. Those are carefully selected if you want to understand the local culture and see all the beautiful places. Maybe more diversity for the repeat customers and different preferences would be a good idea.The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable so you get great suggestions, recommendations and advice from start to finish.The villa is located on the second raw which means you’re protected from the ocean wind and the ocean is about 3-5minutes walking distance.In my opinion the villa is underrated compared to competitors conditions. The discomfort factors are in general external and common to the area.Thank you to the Ananda team for making this holiday so special. 🤩
I recently had my best island experience vacation in December 2023 at Ananda Villa Zanzibar. The good location, clean and spacious rooms, the tasty food, great entertainment during dinners next to the pool, and the most outstanding staff hospitality, all these factors reinforced that picking this accommodation was an excellent decision!Love it! (Already thinking about booking my next trip)
We spent a 9 day holiday at Ananda Villa. A place with a strong emotional charge. I have only words of praise, starting with Elena and Ciprian and ending with every member of the staff.Here you don't feel like a customer, you feel like home.A very quiet place, well positioned. The nearest beach spot is a 1 minute walk away and the nearest beach with sunbeds is a 20 minute walk along the beach.You don't have to worry about food. The chef from the staff takes care of you and your taste buds. The menu includes dishes for everyone's tastes, that is for sure that you will find something on the menu that you will like. Haters will say that no, but trust a person who doesn't necessarily eat fish, and believe me I had plenty of options to eat.I warmly recommend this place owned by Elena and Ciprian- “Zanzibarezii” who will certainly make your experience in Zanzibar unique.

This place is located just a two minute walk away from the beach and we had a wonderful experience overall. Although it might not be directly on the beachfront, the location was still convenient, allowing us quick access to the quiet and a bit wild shoreline that we enjoyed.The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hosts, Ciprian and Elena, ensured that our experience was unforgettable. They took care of the organization of the trips and provided us very useful information. We were thoroughly entertained by the live band music and enjoyed a fun-filled club night with them.The food was very good and the room wasclean and very spacious.While there were a few minor issues, such as problems with the lack of running water in the bathroom upon our arrival, they managed to resolve the problem in a timely manner.All in all, our stay at this place was enjoyable and memorable.
